Our story
Too many property owners were paying twice for the same roof.
Across Ghana, homes and businesses suffered from persistent roofing failures - leaks appearing within months, tiles cracking after the first rainy season, workmanship that failed to endure. The founders believed there had to be a better way.
KINKOK was built to solve this problem - through technical expertise, premium materials, and unwavering accountability. From a single workshop in Greater Accra, the team focused on mastering the science of roofing systems in Ghana’s tropical climate.
The early years were defined by a relentless focus on quality. Every project - no matter how small - received the same engineering rigor and attention to detail. Structural analysis before installation. Climate-specific material selection. Documented warranties that meant something.
This approach was unconventional in a market driven by lowest-cost bids. But the founders understood something critical: a roof is not a commodity. It is the single most important protective system of any building. Cutting corners was never an option.
Word spread. The portfolio grew. By 2022, KINKOK had surpassed 800 projects across all 16 regions. By 2025, that number exceeded 1,300.
The team expanded from 3 founders to over 50 full-time professionals - engineers, project managers, certified installers, and support staff. Branch offices opened in Oyibi, Tema, and Akosombo to serve clients closer to their projects.
KINKOK developed its own proprietary systems, including the KINKOK Self-Lock (KSL) panel - an interlocking roof system with no exposed fasteners, designed specifically for Ghana’s conditions.
Partnerships with Bluescope Steel, Stone Coat, and Aluform ensured access to the world’s best materials.
But this is not merely a story of growth. It is a story of purpose. Every roof we install carries a promise: that the family beneath it will sleep soundly when the rains come.
The question now is not how far we have come, but how much further we can go - for Ghana, for West Africa, and for every property owner who deserves a roof that truly protects.
